Non-pulsating pump - EOP-driven micro pump unit [under development]
It utilizes the phenomenon of electroosmosis and is characterized by being non-pulsating, quiet, compact, lightweight, and capable of high pressure. The indirect drive mechanism allows for the pumping of various liquids.
The electric osmotic flow pump (EOP) that uses electric osmotic pressure is ideal for microfluidic systems sensitive to pulsation, as it does not generate pulsation; however, it can only directly transport ethanol. To overcome this limitation, this pump unit is equipped with an internal diaphragm that isolates ethanol and other substances from the transport liquid.
